author’s stated claim and ending with your stated claim.  Even if you agree with the author’s
argument, you need to demonstrate a distinct difference between those two claims.  Your
supporting paragraphs should comprise a Vivid Story and Reflection that not only clearly
supports your claim, but also functions as a clear response to the author’s argument.  The Vivid
Story and Reflection should be the majority of your paper.  Your last task will be to assess the
consequences of your claim.
