“Conformity and Groupthink” Respond to one (1) of the following discussion topics:

• Explain the power of social influence based on the findings of Milgram’s experiment. Provide one (1) example of a situation you have been in where you felt you had to conform to someone or something. • According to the textbook, a leader can have a major influence on whether or not groupthink will occur. Describe two (2) ways in which a leader could affect groupthink. Additionally, give one (1) example of a leader in history that has promoted groupthink. Describe at least one (1) way groupthink could have been avoided in your example.
